Welcome to Connix Technologies Ltd. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all quotations, sales, supply, installation, and servicing of CCTV camera systems and related products by Connix Technologies Ltd (“Connix”, “we”, “our”, “us”) to the customer (“you”, “your”).
By using our website, purchasing our products, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. General
All goods and services are supplied subject to these Terms unless otherwise agreed in writing. Connix Technologies Ltd reserves the right to update these Terms at any time without prior notice.
2. Quotations and Pricing
- Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
- Prices exclude GST unless otherwise specified.
- Connix reserves the right to amend prices due to supplier or freight cost changes before acceptance.
- Any additional work requested after acceptance of a quote will incur extra charges.
3. Payment Terms
- Full payment is due upon or before installation completion, unless agreed otherwise.
- Approved account holders must pay within 7 or 14 days of invoice.
- Ownership of goods remains with Connix until full payment is received.
- Late payments may incur interest and recovery fees.
4. Delivery and Installation
- Installation schedules depend on product availability and site readiness.
- The customer must ensure site access and provide necessary power/network points.
- Delays or additional work caused by site inaccessibility or unforeseen conditions will be charged accordingly.
5. Warranty
- Equipment is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty (12–36 months).
- Installation workmanship is warranted for 12 months from completion.
- Warranty excludes damage caused by:
- Misuse, neglect, or tampering
- Power surges, lightning, or external factors
- Vandalism or natural disasters
- Warranty service is provided during normal business hours.
6. Returns and Credits
- Returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery, quoting the original invoice number.
- Goods must be in original packaging and resalable condition.
- Returns require prior approval and may be subject to a restocking fee.
- Freight costs are non-refundable.
7. System Performance
- CCTV system performance may vary based on lighting, network quality, and environment.
- Connix is not responsible for image quality issues due to external conditions.
- The customer is responsible for maintaining video storage and backups.
8. Privacy and Legal Compliance
- Customers must comply with New Zealand privacy and surveillance laws regarding camera usage.
- Connix is not liable for any misuse or unlawful operation of installed systems.
9. Liability
- Connix shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including data loss or business interruption.
- Total liability shall not exceed the value of the goods or services provided.
10. Force Majeure
Connix will not be held responsible for delays or failure to perform due to causes beyond reasonable control, including supply issues, natural disasters, or government restrictions.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by New Zealand law, and any disputes shall be resolved in New Zealand courts.
