Ten zone speaker selector with a single programme input and priority channel, plus A and B amplifier inputs that switch automatically between background music and an emergency amplifier.
The AP-Z220 routes one programme source to ten zones, with the useful addition of dual A and B amplifier inputs that switch automatically — background music from one amplifier, emergency audio from another.
That arrangement means the emergency amplifier is not carrying music duty and wearing out, and the changeover happens without an operator deciding which input to select during an incident.
All ten zones accept priority contact input on a 0V trigger, with two alarm output ports providing 0V trigger signals to other systems.
Inputs take 100V or 70V audio at 150W per channel with a total capacity of 1.5kW. Control is by ten zone push buttons and a power switch. The 2U full-metal chassis runs from 200-240V AC with fuse protection and 24V DC at under 17W.
