6-inch PoE network ceiling speaker with a built-in Class D amplifier and decoder, running on 802.3af or 802.3at with no separate amplifier or speaker cabling.
The AP-EC10P collapses an entire audio chain into a ceiling tile: network decoder, Class D amplifier and 6-inch full-range driver in one unit, fed by a single Cat cable.
Because it accepts both 802.3af and 802.3at, it works with the switches already in most buildings. Adding a zone means patching a port, not pulling 100V speaker line back to a plant room — the reason this approach wins in fit-outs and heritage buildings.
Speakers can be assigned to groups or addressed individually from the system server, so a single ceiling speaker is its own zone if the site needs it to be.
Rated 6W RMS with 10W peak at 92dB SPL (1W/1M), response runs 100Hz-18kHz ±3dB with distortion at or under 1% and signal-to-noise of 85dB or better. The 200mm white ABS enclosure with metal grille needs a 165mm cutout, weighs under 1.5kg, and is rated -30°C to 55°C.
