The AP-D612PS is the day-to-day paging station on an EVAC voice alarm system — the one reception or security uses for ordinary announcements on equipment that is also part of the life safety chain.
Twelve zones are addressed directly, expanding to 120 zones with up to 32 remote microphones in a loop connection, so the same station design serves a single building or a campus.
Six inputs with microphone and line selection allow recorded material or an external source to be paged out as readily as a live voice, with three-level zone selection indication.
The gooseneck microphone covers 80Hz-16kHz with signal-to-noise of 70dB or better and distortion under 1% at 1kHz. The full-metal black desktop unit measures 150 x 260 x 55mm at under 1.5kg on 24V DC, drawing under 5W, rated -20°C to 70°C.
