The AP-PCD112 is a single-channel power amplifier for installations that need clean output without a mixer attached — a zone fed from a matrix, an overflow room, an added area on an existing system.
Switching power technology and Class D operation keep both consumption and heat generation low, which is what allows 120W in a 1U chassis without the ventilation clearance a linear amplifier of the same rating would demand.
Separate speaker outputs are provided for 8 ohm and 100V systems, so the same amplifier suits a low-impedance pair or a distributed line. The balanced line input arrives on a Phoenix connector with gain control, and a switchable high-cut filter tailors the output for speech.
Auto standby can be switched on to cut consumption during idle periods. Separate indicators report protection, clip, input and output state, with full short circuit, overload, high temperature, clip and DC protection. Power is 230V AC with 24V DC backup.
