120W network mixer power amplifier supporting 100V, 70V and 8 ohm speaker outputs, built to drop into an IP audio system alongside a server, paging microphone and analogue speakers.
The AP-N9EC120 is designed to be one component of a working IP audio system rather than a standalone box — server software, paging microphone, network amplifier and ordinary analogue speakers combine into an addressable system without specialist endpoint hardware at every speaker.
That approach suits warehouses, hospitals, schools and offices with many small rooms: the speakers stay conventional and inexpensive, and the intelligence sits in the amplifier.
Three microphone and two line inputs cover local sources, with 100V, 70V and 8 ohm speaker outputs for mixed installed infrastructure. Network audio decodes on board with delay under 100ms, distortion at or under 0.3%, and signal-to-noise of 85dB or better.
The 2U full-metal chassis is 88 x 483 x 370mm at under 12kg, drawing 175W from a 200-240V 50-60Hz supply.
