SKU: AP-VC120F
120W five-step volume controller with a 24V DC relay that forces the zone back to full level for priority announcements, regardless of where the occupants left the knob.
The AP-VC120F is the override version of the 120W wall controller, and it exists for one reason: a volume knob turned down is a life-safety problem when an emergency announcement goes out.
A 24V DC relay bypasses the attenuator on a priority signal, restoring the zone to full level for the duration of the call and releasing it afterwards. Under normal use it behaves as an ordinary five-step controller, 3dB per step to 33dB total, on 100V or 70V line.
Specify this variant wherever a zone forms part of a paging or evacuation path. The UV-protected white ABS plate is 86 x 86mm with 60mm depth, surface or in-wall, at under 200g.
