16 channel power sequencer bringing PA system components up in a controlled order at 0.4-0.5 second intervals, with 280W per channel and 2kW total capacity.
The AP-D417 turns a rack on in the right order. Powering up amplifiers, processors and sources simultaneously produces both an inrush current spike and an audible thump through the speakers; sequencing them 0.4 to 0.5 seconds apart avoids both.
Up to 16 components are switched in a defined order, with sources and processors brought up before amplifiers so the system never amplifies a settling signal.
Each channel supplies 280W with a total capacity of 2kW from a 220V AC 20A input. Indicators cover power, each of CH1-CH16, and the timer, so the sequence can be watched as it runs.
The 3U full-metal chassis measures 133 x 483 x 390mm at under 10kg, drawing under 30W, running from 200-240V AC with fuse protection and 24V DC.
