Desktop 16 zone paging station with a high sensitivity gooseneck microphone, line input, built-in chime and four priority levels, expanding to 160 zones with AP-Z215 units.
The AP-Z214 is the operator station for AVTRON's standard analogue paging systems. Sixteen zone keys are available directly, and paging across up to 16 AP-Z215 units reaches 160 zones on larger sites.
Four priority levels govern what takes the system when several sources compete, and a built-in chime announces a page before the message starts.
Both a high-sensitivity gooseneck microphone and an RCA line input are provided, so recorded material or a music source can be paged out as easily as a live voice. Mute attenuation of 0-30dB ducks the secondary line when the microphone or primary line is active.
Microphone input is 600 ohm 5mV on XLR, line input 10k ohm 775mV on RCA, and line output over 775mV at 0dB. Response runs 100Hz-15kHz on microphone and 20Hz-15kHz on line ±3dB, with distortion under 0.01% at 1kHz. The full-metal desktop unit weighs under 2.5kg on 200-240V AC at under 8W.
