The AP-Z219 gives a mid-sized site two independent five-zone systems in one rack unit — or one ten-zone system, depending on how it is configured.
Two amplifier inputs feed the two groups, so background music can run in five zones while a second amplifier drives announcements or a different programme in the other five. Where a site does not need that split, the unit runs as a straightforward ten zone selector from a single source.
That flexibility matters in buildings whose use changes — a venue that operates as one space some days and as separate rooms on others.
Inputs take two programme channels at 100V or 70V, handling 150W per channel with a total capacity of 1.5kW. The 2U full-metal chassis measures 89 x 483 x 366mm at under 8kg, running from 200-240V AC with fuse protection at under 20W.
