The AP-D824EV is the eight zone version of AVTRON's 240W voice alarm controller, for buildings whose evacuation strategy needs more zones than a six zone unit provides — typically multi-storey premises where each floor is its own zone.
All eight zones carry A and B speaker lines with low impedance monitoring, so speaker circuit faults surface through supervision rather than during an incident.
Storage holds up to 255 MP3 or WMA messages on SD card. Eight programmable control inputs and eight programmable outputs, plus fault, EVAC and reset contacts, connect the controller to fire detection and building systems.
The log retains 1000 records over ten years. Inputs include balanced mic/line, RCA and a fireman's microphone; speaker output is 100V across A/B eight zone lines at 80Hz-20kHz. Power is 200-260V AC with 24V DC backup at 300W.
