The AP-W45 is specified for the rooms most PA speakers cannot survive: shower rooms, spa areas, washrooms and clean rooms where humidity is constant rather than occasional.
A fully sealed ABS enclosure and grille keep moisture out of the driver entirely — the failure mode that kills ordinary speakers in these spaces within a year or two.
Rated 3W and 1.5W at 100V with support for both 100V and 70V line input, it is deliberately low-powered: these are small, hard-surfaced, reverberant rooms where more output would only reduce intelligibility.
The compact format keeps it unobtrusive in tiled and glazed spaces while still carrying background music and announcements reliably.
