SKU: AP-D412
Fire alarm to PA integration matrix covering 32 zones, automatically extending an alarm in one zone into adjacent zones across a selectable range.
The AP-D412 links a fire alarm system to a public address system and handles the part that catches most installations out: people in the rooms next door.
When a zone goes into alarm, the matrix forces adjacent zones into alarm as well, with the spread selectable at 0, ±1, ±2, ±3 or ±4 zones. That lets a designer match the evacuation strategy to the building rather than accepting a fixed rule.
Thirty-two 0V alarm inputs feed 32 outputs arranged in two groups of 16, with front panel indicators showing the alarm state of every channel and a zone selector and address DIP switch for configuration.
Alarm active output is a 0V short circuit signal. The 2U full-metal chassis measures 89 x 483 x 390mm at under 7kg, running from 200-240V AC with fuse protection and 24V DC, drawing under 15W.
