The AP-W34 is a compact outdoor wall speaker for background music and paging, where a horn would be too harsh and a ceiling speaker is not an option.
Being a two-way design rather than a single full-range driver, it reproduces music with genuine top end — the difference between a courtyard that sounds pleasant and one that sounds like a tannoy.
A weatherproof cable gland seals the connection at the speaker, which is where outdoor installations usually fail first. Four power taps at 20W, 10W, 5W and 2.5W, plus 8 ohm operation, allow careful level setting across a run of speakers.
Black and white finishes are available so the speaker can either disappear against the building or be specified to match existing hardware. It suits outdoor dining areas, entries, courtyards and covered walkways.
