AVTRON 40W IP Network Column Speaker – AP-NC40

The AP-NC40 is the compact column in the AVTRON IP range, at 520mm tall. Column speakers project speech along a space rather than spraying it in all directions, which is why they suit walkways, platforms, courtyards and building frontages where reverberation would otherwise destroy intelligibility.

Network decoding and amplification are built in, so the speaker takes a network connection and either PoE or a 24V DC feed — no amplifier rack at the far end of a site.

Audio covers MP3, WMA and WAV at 8-512kbps with a response of 130Hz-16kHz ±3dB, deliberately rolled off at the bottom to keep speech clear outdoors.

The white aluminium enclosure measures 520 x 227 x 125mm at 5kg, mounts to a column or wall, and operates from -30°C to 55°C.
