500W Class D network mixer amplifier, the highest output in the AP-N8A range, with built-in IP audio control, 100V line distribution and alarm I/O in 1U.
The AP-N8A500 is the top of the AP-N8A range, for sites where a single zone or amplifier group draws serious power — stadium concourses, large distribution centres, industrial sites with dozens of horn speakers.
It keeps the same 1U format and control layout as the smaller models in the family, so a site can standardise on one amplifier design and vary only the rating per zone. Three microphone, two auxiliary and one line input feed the mixer; the network controller is built in.
0V alarm input and output allow integration with fire detection and building management, while the 144 x 32 LCD provides local status. Consumption stays under 700W for 500W of Class D output.
100V line output drives distributed speakers at better than 90dB signal-to-noise across 20Hz-16kHz. The chassis is 44 x 483 x 408mm at under 16kg on 200-240V or 110V AC.
