The AP-C15 is a 6-inch coaxial ceiling speaker for larger rooms carrying both background music and announcements.
The dual cone coaxial arrangement extends the top end beyond what a plain full-range paper cone manages, which is the difference between music that sounds present and music that sounds muffled through a ceiling.
Line matching transformer taps at 10W, 5W and 2.5W on a constant 100V or 70V line allow level to be trimmed per position, so a large open area and a quieter adjoining space can share a zone.
Sensitivity is 92dB at 1W/1M with maximum output to 103dB, covering 110Hz-13kHz with distortion under 3%. The metal enclosure with ABS back and metal grille is 230mm diameter x 85mm needing a 195mm cutout, weighing under 1.4kg in light white.
