The AP-C66FS is the 6-inch fire resistant ceiling speaker in AVTRON's EN54 range, certified to EN54-24 and BS5839 for voice evacuation systems.
The larger driver gives it 92dB sensitivity with maximum output to 102dB and a wider 120Hz-18kHz response than the 5-inch model, meaning fewer speakers are needed to cover the same area to the intelligibility level a voice evacuation design demands.
A full metal enclosure with metal fire dome back cover preserves ceiling fire integrity and keeps the speaker functioning through the certified period.
Taps are 6W, 3W and 1.5W on 70V or 100V line, with spring clip mounting. The 230mm diameter x 135mm unit weighs under 2kg, available in red or white RAL 9016, with a paper cup dust cover.
