The AP-D624RT extends an EVAC system beyond the zones its controller provides. Each router adds six supervised zones with its own 240W Class D amplifier, and routers cascade to a total system capacity of 120 zones.
Message storage holds up to 255 MP3 or WMA recordings on SD card or via the player, so a large site can hold zone-specific and staged evacuation messages rather than one generic announcement.
Eight programmable control inputs and eight programmable control outputs, plus dedicated fault, EVAC and reset contacts, integrate the router with fire panels and building systems. A log records the last ten years up to 1000 events, which is what an audit or incident review actually needs.
Speaker output is 100V across A/B six zone lines, with balanced mic/line inputs, RCA inputs and a fireman's microphone input. Response is 80Hz-20kHz with signal-to-noise better than 70dB. Power is 200-260V AC with 24V DC backup, drawing 300W.
