60W network mixer power amplifier from the AP-N9EC series, with 100V, 70V and 8 ohm speaker outputs, three microphone inputs and an LCD status display.
The AP-N9EC60 is the smallest amplifier in the AVTRON AP-N9EC series, which spans 60W to 500W on a common design. Sizing a zone is a matter of picking a rating rather than re-engineering the rack.
Unlike 100V-only amplifiers, this series also drives 70V line and 8 ohm loads, which makes it useful in retrofits where the existing speaker infrastructure was not built to a single standard.
Three microphone inputs and two line inputs handle local sources, and network audio is decoded on board across ADPCM, MP3, MP2 and PCM with delay under 100ms. The 144 x 32 LCD reports state at the rack.
Distortion is held at or under 0.3% with signal-to-noise of 85dB or better across 20Hz-16kHz. The full-metal 2U chassis measures 88 x 483 x 370mm at under 11kg, drawing under 95W from 200-240V AC.
