The AP-IP600TM is the operator position for an AVTRON IP public address system, replacing a bank of zone buttons with a 7-inch touch screen that shows the site as it actually is.
Full duplex two-way communication between remote microphones means a paging call can become a conversation — a reception desk and a loading dock can talk without either party releasing a key, which a conventional simplex paging station cannot do.
Connections cover an RJ45 network port, line input and output, a microphone input and a USB input for playing stored announcements or background material.
Audio runs MP3 and MP2 at 8-48kHz sampling across 20Hz-16kHz, with distortion at or under 0.3% and signal-to-noise better than 70dB. The unit measures 250 x 163 x 42mm at 2.2kg, drawing 10W or less from a 12V DC supply.
