The AP-N9EPM30 is the touch screen counterpart to the keypad paging station, and it earns its place on sites with many zones where a fixed keypad runs out of buttons.
Zones are selected on a 7-inch TFT display — all zones, a group, an individual zone or an ad hoc selection — and paging can run two-way for confirmation rather than broadcast-only.
An embedded operating system keeps the station appliance-like in reliability, and a 3W monitor speaker carries the return path clearly in a noisy office. Line and microphone inputs plus a line output handle external sources, and the gooseneck microphone detaches.
Audio is MP3 and MP2 at 8-48kHz with signal-to-noise of 70dB or better across 20Hz-16kHz. The full-metal black unit measures 50 x 210 x 150mm at under 2.5kg, running from 12V DC at under 10W.
