8-inch two-way high power ceiling speaker rated 40W with taps at 40W, 20W, 10W and 5W, supporting 100V/70V line or 8 ohm operation and reaching 104dB maximum.
The AP-C18 is the largest ceiling speaker in AVTRON's hi-fi range, using an 8-inch format for the extra low frequency extension that big rooms and high ceilings need.
Rated to 40W with maximum output of 104dB, it covers atriums, gymnasiums, large retail floors and function spaces where smaller ceiling speakers have to be installed in far greater numbers to reach the same level.
Four taps at 40W, 20W, 10W and 5W give unusually fine control over level per position, and 8 ohm operation is supported alongside 100V and 70V line for low-impedance installations.
Response runs 90Hz-20kHz through a coaxial woofer and 1-inch treble driver. The ABS enclosure with metal back cover and grille is 230mm diameter x 170mm on a 200mm cutout, under 3.2kg in white.
