The AP-C86FS is the largest fire resistant ceiling speaker in AVTRON's EN54 range, using an 8-inch paper woofer certified to EN54-24 and BS5839 for voice evacuation.
Its 110Hz-18kHz response reaches lower than the smaller models, which helps intelligibility in large volumes — atriums, warehouses, sports halls — where the low mid-range carries the weight of a spoken message.
Sensitivity is 92dB at 1W/1M with maximum output to 102dB. The full metal enclosure and metal fire dome maintain ceiling fire integrity and keep the speaker operating for the certified duration.
Taps are 6W, 3W and 1.5W on 70V or 100V line, with spring clip mounting into the ceiling. The 270mm diameter x 133mm unit weighs under 2.5kg, available in red or white RAL 9016.
