SKU: AP-D406
Emergency announcement panel producing an alarm siren or stored voice message automatically on an external trigger or a front panel button, with two recordable messages up to 180 seconds.
The AP-D406 is the emergency voice source in an analogue PA rack. A 0V short signal from a fire panel or a press of the front panel button starts the alarm immediately — either a generated siren tone or a stored voice message.
Two messages can be recorded into the built-in IC memory, up to 180 seconds total, so a site can hold both an evacuation and an all-clear or shelter-in-place announcement without external playback hardware.
Recording is done at the panel using the play/record controls, record level and volume, with a microphone input (600 ohm, 5mV) and a line input (10k ohm, 330mV).
The siren and message path runs 100Hz-3.4kHz ±3dB, tuned for cut-through, while the microphone and audio inputs cover 60Hz-16kHz. Distortion is under 0.1% at 1kHz with signal-to-noise better than 70dB. The 2U full-metal chassis runs from 200-240V AC with 24V DC and fuse protection at under 15W.
