Touch screen EVAC remote paging station addressing up to 120 zones, with looped connection for 32 remote microphones, line input and adjustable volume.
The AP-D632TS is the touch screen paging position for an EVAC voice alarm system, and its advantage is scale: a single station addresses all 120 zones, where a keypad station is limited by the number of physical keys.
Up to 32 remote microphones connect in a loop, so a cable break does not isolate the stations beyond it — the redundancy a life safety system requires.
A line input with adjustable volume allows recorded or external audio to be paged out alongside live announcements from the gooseneck microphone.
Microphone input is 5mV at 600 ohms with line input at 350mV/10k ohms, covering 80Hz-16kHz with signal-to-noise of 70dB or better and distortion under 1% at 1kHz. The full-metal black desktop unit measures 150 x 260 x 55mm at under 1.5kg on 24V DC, drawing under 5W, rated -20°C to 70°C.
