Fireman's microphone station for EVAC voice alarm systems, taking highest configurable priority during an emergency, with programmable EVAC and alert keys and fault indication.
The AP-D6120FS is the microphone the fire service uses. When an incident is underway, the fireman's station takes highest priority over every other source on the system, so a warden or attending officer can address the building regardless of what else is broadcasting.
Priority level is configurable, letting the design place the station correctly within a wider hierarchy of paging, automated messages and alarm tones.
Programmable EVAC and alert keys allow the two standard signals — evacuate and alert — to be triggered directly, which is faster and less error-prone than navigating a menu during an emergency.
LED indicators cover power, fault, microphone and test state, giving the routine confirmation that a life safety device is healthy rather than silently failed. It supports long communication distances from the control equipment.
