Network desktop paging station with a keypad and 2.8-inch TFT display, calling all zones, groups, individual zones or a selection, with two-way paging and a detachable gooseneck microphone.
The AP-N9EPM20 is the keypad paging station for AVTRON network PA systems, aimed at operators who want physical keys rather than a touch screen — a reception desk, a security office, a control room where staff page without looking down.
Zone selection covers all zones, group zones, individual zones and arbitrary selections, and paging can run two-way rather than broadcast-only.
An embedded operating system runs the station, so it starts and stays running like an appliance instead of a computer. A 2W monitor speaker lets the operator hear the return path, and the gooseneck microphone detaches for storage.
Auxiliary input and output are provided for external sources, with audio in MP3 and MP2 at 8-48kHz, signal-to-noise of 70dB or better across 20Hz-16kHz. The full-metal black desktop unit is 50 x 210 x 150mm at under 2.5kg on DC power, drawing under 10W.
