The AP-IP600SF is the server application behind an AVTRON IP network audio and public address system, running on Windows from 2000 through to Windows 10.
A built-in weekly timer handles scheduled programme — school bells, shift changes, opening and closing announcements, background music windows — without a separate scheduling appliance. The built-in audio encoder prepares source material for distribution across the network.
The interface is presented entirely in English, which is not universally true of PA management software from this segment and makes a meaningful difference to commissioning and handover.
Audio runs at 8kHz-44.1kHz 16-bit with transmission from 8kbps to 320kbps in MP2, MP3, PCM and ADPCM, achieving signal-to-noise of 90dB or better across 20Hz-20kHz with data delay around 30 milliseconds over standard 10/100Mbps networking.
