The AP-DP204 is the phantom-powered desktop microphone in the AVTRON range, aimed at fixed announcement and paging desks where the gooseneck stays where it is put and the operator needs a clear press-to-talk position.
Running on 48V phantom power, with a 3V DC alternative for panels that cannot supply phantom, it suits both modern mixer amplifiers and older installed systems. The uni-directional capsule keeps pickup on the operator and away from a busy control room.
Sensitivity is -29dB at 150 ohms unbalanced, and the 3m cable gives useful reach across a desk to a rack or wall plate. The unit weighs 0.56kg.
