The AP-S9KPM gives an operator hard keys instead of a touch screen — the right choice for a reception, security desk or nurses station where paging happens repeatedly and staff should not have to look at the device.
Announcements go to an individual SIP speaker or a group, and the station supports intercom as well as one-way paging, so a call can be answered rather than only heard.
Running SIP natively, it appears to the phone system as an endpoint, which keeps paging inside the organisation's existing dial plan and permissions.
The detachable gooseneck microphone and monitor speaker follow the same pattern as the rest of the AVTRON SIP control range, with the full-metal desktop housing built for continuous use.
