The AP-WC256 is the chairman position in an AVTRON UHF wireless conference system. Up to 16 chairman units can run on one master system, which suits panel formats where several people need the authority to take the floor.
The LCD reports channel, unit ID and battery level at the seat, so an operator can spot a unit about to run flat before it interrupts a session rather than after. The gooseneck microphone detaches for transport and storage.
Transmission runs FM across 740-790MHz with a service range of 100 metres and signal-to-noise better than 100dB. The unit operates from 4.5V and weighs under 1kg at 56 x 168 x 125mm.
