The DS-KH6320Y-WTE2 runs a full IP intercom over ordinary two-core cable, which is what makes it the answer for retrofits.
Older buildings already have two-wire runs from an existing analogue intercom. Replacing that cabling with Cat6 through occupied apartments is disruptive and often impossible; this station reuses what is there and still delivers IP features, app control and video.
The 7-inch IPS touch screen at 1024 x 600 gives wider viewing angles than a standard TFT, which matters on a wall-mounted panel viewed from an angle rather than head-on.
Functionality matches the IP models: Hik-Connect app control for remote answering and door release, live view of door stations and public-area cameras, voice messages when unanswered, alarm linkage and elevator access control.
Capacity is 200 pictures and 200 alarm records with a TF card, 16 linked indoor extensions, 17 IP doorphones and 16 linked cameras, with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Finished in black.
