The DS-KH8350-WTE1 is the Ultra Series 7-inch station, and a Red Dot design award winner — which in practice means it is the model to specify when the client cares how the panel looks on the wall.
The IPS screen is the functional upgrade over the Pro Series TFT: wider viewing angles, so the display stays correct when viewed from along a hallway rather than straight on.
Eight alarm inputs, against four on the entry-level stations, let the indoor station double as the alarm interface for an apartment — door contacts, PIRs and panic buttons wired directly to the panel.
Whole-system configuration runs from the screen with a setup wizard, alongside live view of door stations and public-area cameras, voice messages when unanswered and elevator access control.
The 7-inch capacitive IPS runs 1024 x 600 with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, 16 linked indoor extensions, 17 linked doorphones and 16 linked cameras.
