Main camera module for Hikvision's KD8 modular door station, with a 2MP fisheye camera, IR supplement, single call button, two-lock control and PoE power in an IP65 housing.
The DS-KD8003-IME1 is the module every KD8 door station is built around. It carries the camera, microphone, speaker and call button, and the keypad, display, nametag and blank modules bolt on beside it as the entrance requires.
A 2MP fisheye camera covers 146° horizontally and 82° vertically — wide enough that a visitor standing off to one side, or a child, is still in frame, which is the usual failing of narrow-lens door stations. IR supplement lighting and WDR keep the picture usable at night and against a bright sky behind the caller.
Two-lock control runs both a door and a gate from the one module, and 12V 500mA output powers an electronic lock directly, so a simple installation needs no separate lock power supply. Standard PoE means one cable does power and network.
Capacity covers 2,000 users, 6,000 cards, 500 linked indoor stations and 16 sub door stations. The IP65 housing is rated for outdoor mounting, and configuration is done remotely through the web interface.
