Blank filler module for the KD8 modular door station, closing an unused grid position in the mounting frame to IP65 with a matching finish.
The DS-KD-BK fills a module position that is not yet in use. Brackets come in fixed one, two and three-module sizes, so a station with fewer modules than positions leaves an open aperture — and an open aperture in an outdoor enclosure is a water and insect ingress point.
Fitting a blank keeps the station sealed to IP65 and leaves the frontage looking deliberate rather than unfinished.
It is also the practical way to plan ahead: specify a larger bracket at installation, blank the spare position, and add a keypad or display module later without changing the bracket or re-cutting the wall.
The module measures 98.5 x 100 x 33.7mm and matches the finish and profile of the functional modules in the range.
