The DS-KD-DIS gives a door station a screen, replacing the fixed nametag strip with a contact list that can hold 2,000 entries and be edited from the system rather than reprinted.
For any building with turnover — apartments, serviced offices, student accommodation — that is the difference between updating a name in software and sending someone out with a label kit.
The 3.5-inch 320 x 480 TFT screen runs at 250 cd/m² with four physical buttons (up, down, OK, back) rather than a touch panel, which stays reliable in rain and with gloved hands. Multiple languages are supported.
Visitors can dial a number directly or enter a PIN to unlock. The module is IP65 rated with backlight compensation, measures 98.5 x 100 x 34.2mm, draws 2.5W, and flush or surface mounts beside the main module.
