SKU: DS-KD-KP
12-button keypad module for the KD8 modular door station, allowing PIN entry to open the door or dial an indoor station. IP65 and IK07 rated with backlit buttons.
The DS-KD-KP adds PIN entry to a KD8 door station, so residents and staff can open the door without a card, fob or phone — the fallback that stops a forgotten credential becoming a call to the building manager.
The same keypad dials indoor stations directly, which suits apartment buildings where visitors enter an apartment number rather than hunting through a nametag list.
IK07 impact rating sits above the IP65 weather rating and is the specification that matters on a public entrance: the keypad is the part of a door station people press hard, hit with keys, and occasionally attack.
Backlight compensation behind the buttons keeps the digits readable at night. The module measures 98.5 x 100 x 34.2mm, flush or surface mounts alongside the main module, draws 1W, and operates from -40°C to 55°C.
