The DS-K1T502DBFWX-CE1 does the job of two devices: an access control terminal and a door intercom in one housing, which halves the hardware on an entrance that needs both.

Authentication covers capacitive fingerprint, M1 and DESFire cards, PIN, QR code and Bluetooth from a phone — so a site can issue whichever credential suits each user group without adding readers.

Zinc alloy construction with IP65 and IK09 ratings is built for an outdoor, public-facing entrance where a plastic terminal would be vandalised or weather-damaged.

Intercom runs over standard SIP against Brekeke, miniSipServer, FreePBX, Asterisk, 3CX, ELASTIX and PBXware, so the terminal joins an existing phone system rather than requiring Hikvision indoor stations. The call button reaches a management centre, an indoor station or a phone.

A Wiegand interface connects it to an existing access controller (Hik 26-bit and 34-bit), and RS-485 handles an external card reader or elevator calling. A 2MP camera covers 110° horizontally. Power is 802.3at PoE or 12-24V DC at 24W or less, rated -40°C to 65°C.
