SKU: DS-K2M061
Secure door control module that moves lock switching inside the protected area, communicating with the access terminal over RS-485 with tamper alarm, Wiegand reader input and fire linkage.
The DS-K2M061 exists to close the most obvious attack on a door: an access terminal mounted outside the building holds the lock relay, so cutting it open and shorting two terminals opens the door.
This module moves that relay inside the secure area. The terminal outside only sends a command over RS-485; the actual lock switching happens on the protected side of the door, where an attacker cannot reach it.
It also gathers the door contact, exit button and tamper signals and reports them back to the terminal, with a tamper alarm of its own and RS-485 indicators showing communication status.
A Wiegand interface connects a card reader for entry or exit, and fire interface linkage releases the door on a fire signal — a code requirement on most egress doors.
Interfaces cover one lock control, one exit button, one door contact, two alarm inputs, one alarm output, RS-485 and Wiegand, with a 4-channel DIP switch for ID configuration. It runs on 12V DC at 0.5A, measures 48 x 115 x 26mm, and is rated -40°C to 70°C.
