The DS-KABD8003-RS2 covers a two-module surface-mounted door station, keeping rain off both the camera module and the keypad, display or nametag module beside it.
Protecting the second module matters as much as the first: keypads and nametag buttons are the parts that fail from water ingress, and they sit exposed on the same frontage.
SECC electro-galvanised steel construction is specified for permanent outdoor use. Installation uses a supplied levelling sticker as a drilling template and four expansion bolts, with module connecting cables threaded through the frame before the cover is fixed with the supplied hex wrench.
It measures 224 x 116.4 x 58mm at 500g, rated -40°C to 60°C at 10% to 95% humidity.
